ASEFCA was established in 1977 with a national scope, and currently has 24 member companies. In 2003, ASEFCA created the Spanish Adhesion and Adhesives Group (GEAA), a forum that aims to bring together, promote and coordinate scientific and technical knowledge about the world of adhesion and adhesives. In June 2010 a Technical Working Group was formed to deal with purely technical aspects, mainly related to legislation (REACH, CLP, uses, exposure scenarios, etc.).
It is the highest body of the association and is composed of all the members. An ordinary general assembly is held once a year, usually in a hybrid format so that members can attend both in person and remotely.
It is made up of representatives of the companies that are members and meet to discuss different aspects that affect the industry. Its meetings are held on a timely basis and are agreed upon at the proposal of the members and the secretariat.
Board of Directors: it has about 10 members, including the President, Vice Presidents and Members, who are elected by the General Assembly of Members every four years. It meets several times a year by telematic means to deal with matters of direct concern to the Association.
Incorporated in Alicante on March 21, 2003, within the Spanish Association of Glue and Adhesive Manufacturers (ASEFCA). It is formed by an important number of specialists in the field of Adhesion and Adhesives, representatives of Universities, Technological Centers and industry from all over Spain.
